Doctor of Chiropractic
The Doctor of Chiropractic is a first professional degree, a category shared by several other health professions, including medicine (M.D.), pharmacy (Pharm. D.), optometry (O.D.), and dentistry (D.D.S.). After at least three years of undergraduate education, students admitted to Western States Chiropractic College earn the D.C. degree after successful completion of the four year professional training program.

The curriculum at Western States Chiropractic College prepares students to be dynamic leaders in evidence-based chiropractic care. WSCC has been a pioneer in healthcare for a number of reasons:

  • WSCC has long encouraged an integrated approach to health care. The vision that established those directions is now being realized, and our graduates are prepared to successfully join and lead the profession in the 21st century.

  • WSCC is a pioneer in chiropractic research, and was the first chiropractic college ever to receive a federally-funded research grant through HRSA (the Health Resources & Services Administration -- a division of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services).

  • Our state-of-the-art lecture facilities offer students an interactive, engaging educational experience which enhances learning.
