Financial Assistance
Several options are available to help you finance the cost of the Massage Therapy program at WSCC. The information below gives you contacts you will need to compare programs and decide what is best for you.

All eligible students wishing to apply for federal student aid should fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This application is available in January of each year for the upcoming school year. Most students apply online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. If you would prefer a paper application, you may pick one up at a high school, college, or public library in your area or request one from our Financial Aid Office. When you fill out the FAFSA, you will need to enter the WSCC school code (012309). Your application will be reviewed after you have been admitted to the massage therapy program at WSCC and have paid your tuition deposit. Federal student aid programs include Pell Grants, Stafford loans, Perkins loans, and Parent PLUS loans. If you would like additional information on these types of aid, http://www.finaid.org/ is an excellent resource and provides details on each of these programs.

Should you choose not to apply for federal student aid, or if your Cost of Attendance cannot be adequately funded with federal student aid funds, you may consider applying for an alternative student loan to help cover your educational expenses. All alternative loans require a credit check as a factor in determining your eligibility and/or interest rates, and some may require a cosigner. Be sure to compare interest rates, fees, and repayment options when you are selecting your lender. Because the college certifies your eligibility as part of this process, you must be accepted to the Massage Therapy program before the loan can be finalized.
