WSCC Honor Dr. Appa Anderson!

A very special honor was bestowed at the Centennial Banquet on June 5, 2004, at the Portland Airport Embassy Suites: Dr. Appa Anderson received a Lifetime Achievement award for her many years of dedication, both to the College and the Chiropractic Profession. Dr. Anderson is a WSCC graduate, was the first female chiropractic radiologist, taught at the College for many years, has attended well over 125 commencement ceremonies, and is now professor emeritus.

Centennial weekend kicked off the campaign to build the anatomy/radiology building on campus. To honor Dr. Anderson, we hope that alumni will help build the APPA ANDERSON Research and Diagnostic Imaging Center, the entire lower level of the new campus building and a truly fitting tribute to this remarkable and dedicated doctor.
